I was happy to participate in the open call organised by Mile books publisher. The result was 7 zines for children written by new authors about 7 different emotions. Each zine was accompanied by a game connected to the feeling. All of them were screen printed. I was also responsible for the lettering on all of zines’ cover. The feeling that I have illustrated was joy.

I payed particular attention to capturing resemblance as well as showing movement in this illustration. I finished these during the online course with Masha Shishova at Prostaya Shkola.

City of Melbourne
The aim of the project was to create a visually attractive and memorable, as well as easy to navigate newsletter about the City of Melbourne’s extensive network of parks and gardens.
After research I created hand-drawn illustrations of plants and animals that are resident in the parks. Bright colours and detailed work on text improve readability and hierarchy. They also accentuate versatility of the 170-hectare Royal Park with its unique landscape and wetlands habitat.
Following declining number of trees, City of Melbourne developed various incentives to manage climate change and protect urban forests. I have put together leaflets that have information about a particular plant and its importance as a part of biodiversity, and relevant seed packet. I have also created sustainable options of merchandise as tote bags, reusable coffee cups, reusable water bottles to promote cutting usage of plastic.
Tools used: ink, paper cut-outs, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
Here is a selection from my different sketchbooks. They are mainly observations from museum visits, zoos, parks and meeting wonderful people.
Tools used: ink, pen, watercolour, pencil, gouache.
The digital calendar is a personal project; its main purpose is to increase awareness about endangered species and ways that we can have an effect on the current environmental situation.
Each month consists of a hand-drawn illustration of a critically endangered animal, calendar month and short information on population, status and scientific name of that species. An illustration was revealed every month to be downloaded for free on any device along with a concise guidance on changes we can make to help save animals.
Tools used: ink, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign.
